Glute Activation

A trending topic that has resonance at this time of the year when strength and conditioning is important for those long runs,  is managing your "Glute Activation" AKA "Get your ass in gear" Having strong Glute (Butt muscles) will alleviate allot of strain on other leg muscles including hamstrings, Hips and calf's.

If you have a somewhat sedentary lifestyle whereby you spend allot of time sitting, driving etc. the Glutes may need not only strengthening, but to be activated before you run.
